Meet Ashley!

Ashley is professional educator, author, and Master Certified Professional Life-Coach with an undergraduate degree in elementary education and a master’s degree in counseling with a focus on marriage and family. 

​

She has worked with children, teens, young adults, professionals, and families in various capacities for over 30 years. Her specialties include assisting those impacted by ADHD, reading challenges, and strengthening executive functioning skills to enrich the lives of others. As a mom of three adult children as well as a former classroom teacher, Ashley brings a wealth of lived experience, skilled instruction, and passion to develop and strengthen each person’s abilities to reach their personal goals.

MEET ASHLEY

As a published author and owner of Dynamic Learning Press, Ashley

believes that possessing strong reading and comprehension skills are a gateway to having more advantageous opportunities, confidence, and independence in life. To accomplish this, children must have access to literature and skilled instruction, so Ashley launched Dynamic Learning Compassion (non-profit) to boost literacy and provide books to underserved populations of children. Our mission is to donate books to schools, non-profit organizations, and Children's Hospitals.

 

Dynamic Learning Press uses literature as a vehicle for encouraging conversations about challenging topics that many kids (and adults) will face throughout their lifetime. Most of the category of books conclude with a page discussing how to help an individual become an overcomer related to the topic at hand.

Ashley’s desire is to help the youngest to the oldest find their value and worth, so they are competent and capable of spreading their unique gifts and talents to enhance the world.

In her free time, you will find Ashley traveling, reading, outside at a café, or with her family.

What is Dynamic Learning Connection?

Dynamic Learning Connection (DLC) was born out of a desire to help people connect and strengthen their learning potential while experiencing greater confidence and success in all aspects of life. As our company has continued to expand, we have been able to serve and assist many individuals, couples, families, and professionals by building the concepts of self-identity, self-awareness, self-esteem, and self-efficacy so our clients can find their potential with strategic goals in mind. We believe strongly in the foundation of a strength-based approach to help our clients understand how their brain, personality, and lived experiences intersect. We have witnessed the positive impact of personalized discussion and instruction in one-on-one, couples, small-group instruction, and in a larger context as we seek to use our lived experiences and expertise to assist those who are struggling personally or professionally. We also work with parents and educators to help increase their knowledge and awareness for further application to benefit their student and homelife.

We believe our clients are aspiring strong individuals, students, workers, and families and never want them to believe that they are helpless, behind, or beyond hope. We understand the sensitivities of people and believe in only using encouraging dialogue with our students and clients while also incorporating powerful listening skills. We are here to help and be a cheerleader while using proficient and personalized guidance. We cater our services and skills to our students’, client’s, and families’ individual needs and put our whole heart into it! We do not believe in a one-size fits all styles of coaching, so we meet our students and clients where they are and guide them to where they can go!

We exist to work with those ranging from children to adulthood, so we can focus on goals and goal-directed behavior, such as Executive Functioning skills while improving the quality of relationships and other areas of life. We work with anyone desiring to set and achieve goals to seek better understanding and growth. We do not provide therapy supports (such as OT, psychological/educational evaluations, SLP services, etc.) although we do complement those, or we can help guide you to those resources.

It is all about people! People deserve to find happiness and feel competent and capable when given proper tools and support if they are willing to put in the work. We exist to help them develop stronger skills while experiencing more personal peace and fulfillment that continues to spread in their circle of influence.

Ashley’s passion and desire is creating vibrant and engaging narratives that resonate with kids based on her thirty years of experience working with children as an educator and life-coach. 

​

The literature she publishes is used as a vehicle to start conversations between children and trusted adults about issues that matter and can be challenging to discuss.​​ 

Her books include suggestions in the back to help guide caretakers and educators with helpful dialogue to affirm discussions as they peek into the mind of a reader.

​Our mission is to provide quality literature to those in need in what is sometimes referred to as book deserts. We also donate books to schools, other nonprofits, and hospitals.
